This is a simple guide to staying and being healthy. Being healthy is a lifestyle choice that you must be committed to and stick to to ensure it works.. eating healthy being more active are the ingrediants you need this guide will simply piece together the fundemental aspects that you need to acknowledge to help you.
Okay so you want to be healthy? Why dont you start with your diet... One rule you should know and maybe write on the walls is that: Sugar is the enemy not even fat is as bad as sugar.

Eating sugary snacks and food wich there really is plenty out there... foods that we may think and look healthy me in actual fact be filled with sugar.. Sugar as we all know causes diabetes where your body becomes resistant to insulin... Insulin is the fat storage hormone... sudden spikes in blood sugar levels results in a increase of insuling being released into your body which really is not good at all...so because loads of foods even some healthy fruit contain sugar you need to know how to manage this and not cause these sudden spikes in blood sugar levels... eating fiber helps to slow down the digestion of food and makes sure sugar is slowly relased into your blood instead of all at once.

Calorie counting something that people think works and the media tries to promote but really it is a lie.. 100 calories of butter isn't the same as 100 calories of chicken... they both contain different nutrition and it is the nutrition that is important... even some fats are good for you apart from transfat and saturated fats your body needs fat survive... but over eating and eating food that you dont need.. and eating empty calorie foods in other words foods that dont contain any nutritional benefit is really quite bad.

Focus on what you eat but most importantly focus on what nutrition is in the food.. think to yourself does this food contain what my body needs or am i just eating it to fill myself.


Keep active and stay healthy


Sport is a amazing way to stay healthy and active and it should be something everyone does.. but unfortunately not everyone has the time.. but worry not if this is you... you can always just be more active by walking more and not taking the car...
Being active is important for our hearts health and well being giving us lots more energy helping us better cope with the stress of modern life.
